LaShonda Johnson, CFEd®, brings 30 years of combined experience in financial education and services, entrepreneurship, corporate management, training and development, and business mentorship. Most recently, her passion for financially educating and empowering individuals, families, and business owners with the knowledge necessary to confidently manage their money has led her professional charge. In January 2015, to educate the masses, she Co-Founded The Houston Housewives of Finance, HHOF, Inc., with the tagline “The New Faces for The New Age of Financial Services. The vision of HHOF, Inc. and its subsidiaries located in 7 additional states in the US was to bring fun into finances utilizing events, workshops, social media, technology, radio, podcast, blogs, and speaking engagements to deliver financial education and services to the masses. The goal was to create innovative ways to engage various audiences. In addition, through HHOF, where LaShonda served as CEO, she also mentored independent female advisors new to the industry in branding and marketing themselves in the financial services industry. LaShonda also has the privilege of being aligned with World System Builders and WFGIA, where she currently holds a Senior Marketing Director position.

Additionally, in 2020 LaShonda also founded Securum Insurance Solutions, Inc., a full-service insurance agency for property & casualty and commercial insurance products. Securum is launching its first of many locations planned to serve the community in March 2023. LaShonda is licensed in multiple states. She has enjoyed providing financial education to organizations like PFPMA (Professional Football Players Mothers Association), the Kimpact Program through Kairos Investment Management Company, Branches of YMCA, and Houston Community College. LaShonda is also actively participating in World System Builders’ pursuit to financially educate and serve 30 million families by 2030. LaShonda is a devoted mother, grandmother, and godmother who loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and serving the community with her fellow Sistas with Jeeps (SWJ Club Organization).
