
Dar’shun Nicole Kendrick established herself as a trailblazer unafraid to speak truth to power and fight for justice. As an attorney, author, and entrepreneur, she has made it her mission to be a woman for the people. Kendrick was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she attended Oglethorpe University, earning a bachelor of arts in Political Science. She would obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Since then, Kendrick has dedicated her career to serving and uplifting her community. She serves as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, where she has been a vocal advocate for issues such as criminal justice reform, voting rights, and economic development. In addition to her political work, Kendrick is the founder and CEO of Kendrick Law Practice, LLC, a boutique law firm specializing in business and entertainment law.
Kendrick is also a prolific author, having written several books on entrepreneurship and leadership, including “The Young Professional’s Guide to the Working World: Savvy Strategies to Get In, Get Ahead, and Rise to the Top” and “360 Degrees of Leadership: Wisdom for Business Leaders.” Her writing has been featured in numerous publications, including Black Enterprise, Forbes, and The Huffington Post.
Despite facing adversity and discrimination as a Black woman in the male-dominated field of law and politics, Kendrick has never wavered in her quest to create a more perfect union. Through her work, she has inspired countless others to pursue their dreams and make a difference in their communities.
