Crystal Hadnott is a seasoned non-profit executive and consultant with over 15 years of experience; a results-driven leader with proven experience in developing integrated fundraising programs, multi-channel marketing, innovation and donor/volunteer engagement, strategic planning, fundraising, and constituent care. Passionate about fundraising and always up to date on trends and new opportunities, Hadnott has been recognized for developing cross-functional teams, establishing a sales culture within those teams, and creating strategic partnerships to further the mission of the organizations she has worked with. Where a need is identified, she does not wait for someone else to satisfy it. She takes ownership of the situation, assembles the necessary partners, identifies the best solution, and implements the necessary strategies. She has the demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and build cohesive, diverse teams that include profitability in entrepreneurial ventures.

Hadnott became a nutrition student after a medical crisis in her 20s when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. After conducting many hours of research on the healing properties of food, she became passionate about studying nutrition, which led to her receiving several certifications and publishing numerous scholarly articles. Hadnott has comprehensively studied over 100 dietary theories, the science behind food as well as innovative methods in integrative wellness in developing her professional principles and private practice.

As a fund development executive, she aims to raise funds to move towards social change. She has found herself chronicling her professional philosophy through her published scholarly articles such as several eBooks and her highly anticipated book, Living Nourished: Nurturing Principles Beyond the Plate. She is also a member of the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations (NANOE) with her Certified Development Executive (CDE) credentials, as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) with her Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credentials.

She is a Certified Integrative Nutritionist, Functional Wellness Coach, Health Educator, speaker, and advocate curating a holistic health revolution to help people operate at peak performance and reach optimal health. Her wellness philosophy looks at the complete person and focuses on the full spectrum–physical, mental, emotional, spiritual wellness of the individual. She believes since people are multi-dimensional, health must be addressed with a multi-faceted approach which is rooted in fully educating her clients to live a completely nourished life and armed them with the tools to take charge of their health.

After creating a transformative brand, to further her mission through community engagement, advocacy, and diplomacy, she wanted to do her part by expanding Synergy through her charities initiatives to provide change, “Growing Up Growing.” With an understanding that limited access to nutritious food and proper nutrition education is systematic, structural, and institutional racism, Growing Up Growing not only provides community gardens for youth within their neighborhoods but also offers educational workshops giving social instructions and interactions around the food that they are growing – potentially leading to economic development and sustainability within that community. This philanthropic action leads to her advocacy action, Growing on the Go, which will kick off during the Winter of 2022.

In addition, as a health and education advocate and a champion for social equality and equity, Hadnott has been a spokesperson for several non-profit organizations, such as the Arthritis Foundation, the American Heart Association, the Bread of Life, and many more. As a spokesperson, she yields her fund development experience to raise dollars to support the mission of these organizations. She also serves as a board member of the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, where she plays an active role with the Development & Communications Committee.

Hadnott penned her memoir, The Finish was Just the Start, outlining the story of her health and fitness journey. Following up on her memoir, she is curating a daily devotional, Rise & RUN, which is set to release at the beginning of 2022.
