As a businesswoman, Sharrarne is the CEO of Morton Media, a media training and public relations firm. She has created a space that offers guidance and media training. Morton’s company provides small businesses with practical media solutions to start and grow sustainable and profitable businesses.
A former adjunct college professor, Sharrarne taught English and Journalism for 16 years at Prince George’s Community College. Additionally, Sharrarne has been a diversity and inclusion trainer for organizations like The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission. Utilizing theory and experiential learning, Sharrarne’s diversity training helps participants explore critical questions about who we are, what we think we know about each other, how cultural systems of power impact our lives. She also offers solutions to navigate an increasingly diverse society through relationship building.
