Multimedia Expert
Lyndsay Levingston is a multimedia expert, host, television talent, contributor and educator. She has appeared on and contributed to BOLD TV, NJTV News (PBS), New York’s Verizon Fios1, NY 1 News, NBC Houston, FOX Houston, FOX Tulsa and NTV Houston in various capacities including anchor, host, reporter and producer.
Lyndsay serves Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media as an adjunct professor teaching writing for various media platforms. She also leads webinars for post-collegiates and aspiring journalists.Lyndsay, a Houston native, lends her talents to various community, corporate and social engagements as emcee, moderator and speaker. She graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and dual minors in dance and secondary education. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Lyndsay was diagnosed with Stage 2B triple-negative breast cancer in July 2019. On October 1, 2020, she launched SurTHRIVER, a breast cancer awareness and wellness platform to inform, inspire and empower women. SurTHRIVER has been featured on Essence.com, OprahMag.com, Houston Defender, New York’s PIX 11 News, REVOLT TV Black News, NBC Houston, and KTSU 90.9 Radio.
